Record-keeping requirements expanded from pistols and revolvers only to all retail firearm transactions (excluding destructive devices), with electronic records explicitly permitted

Dealers must secure large-capacity magazines behind counters, in locked display cases, or locked rooms; beginning October 1, 2027, places of business must have security features on all exterior doors and windows, adequate interior lighting for surveillance video identification, and alarm systems with video surveillance

Dealers must report theft or loss of firearms to the Department of Revenue within 72 hours, and employee requirements now apply to independent contractors who handle firearms
