Adds repeated or willful failure to timely complete medical certifications for death certificates as grounds for discipline under the Nurse and Nurse Aide Practice Act for advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)

Closes a gap created by HB 25-1082, which added APRNs and physician assistants to professions required to complete death certificate medical certifications within 72 hours but only included discipline provisions for physicians and physician assistants

Amends section 12-255-120 of Colorado Revised Statutes to add this failure as a new disciplinary ground (subsection 1(ii)) alongside existing grounds like drug diversion and criminal convictions

Takes effect August 12, 2026, unless a referendum petition is filed
