Honors the courage, service, and sacrifice of all Americans who served in military operations following September 11, 2001, including Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and related operations spanning approximately two decades

Solemnly remembers the 107 Colorado service members killed in action out of more than 6,900 total U.S. military deaths and over 2 million Americans deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan

Acknowledges that many returning Colorado veterans continue to live with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and other service-related conditions requiring ongoing care and support

Reaffirms the Colorado General Assembly's responsibility to ensure veterans and their families receive timely, comprehensive, and competent care, support, and recognition

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to President Trump, Governor Polis, the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and various veterans organizations
