Farmers' market managers are mostly volunteers requiring expertise in agricultural seasons, event planning, permitting, food safety, emergency management, and payment methods

The resolution urges the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the Colorado Farmers Market Association to sustain and enhance their partnership to support new and existing farmers' market managers

Copies of the resolution will be sent to the Commissioner of Agriculture, the Colorado Farmers Market Association Executive Officer, and the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union CEO
