Expands Colorado Crime Victim Compensation Act to cover traditional Native American healing ceremonies and practices for enrolled members of federally recognized tribes

Covered expenses include traditional counseling and healing from elders or spiritual healers, sweat lodge and smudging ceremonies

Ceremonial burial expenses are compensable, including clothing for the deceased, meals, and costs related to traditional giveaway or gifting practices

Child care during burial ceremonies and reimbursement for gifts to individuals performing ceremonial services are also included

Effective date of August 12, 2026, assuming adjournment on May 13, 2026, unless a referendum petition is filed
