Child care centers must disclose in their policies that workers are mandatory reporters of child abuse or neglect under Colorado law (Section 19-3-304)

Centers using video recording equipment must provide written disclosure of the equipment's presence and their policies regarding its use

Video disclosure requirements include recording, retention, and disposal policies; privacy protections; parental and legal access to footage; and any other related procedures

Effective date is August 12, 2026 (90 days after legislative adjournment), unless a referendum petition is filed
