Requires all youth athletic coaches at public and private middle schools, junior high schools, and high schools to complete an annual mental health education course covering topics including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, suicide prevention, and concussion effects

Extends the same annual mental health training requirement to coaches employed by private clubs, public recreation facilities, and athletic leagues that sponsor youth athletic activities

Mandates that coaches notify a youth athlete's parent or guardian about potential psychological symptoms and mental health changes when the athlete is removed from play for a suspected concussion

Adds new requirements to the existing Jake Snakenberg Youth Concussion Act, requiring concussion recognition courses to include information on the relationship between concussions and mental health

Takes effect August 12, 2026, and is officially titled "Alyssa's Youth Concussion Mental Health Protection Act"
