MaryAnne Tebedo (October 30, 1936 – February 13, 2023) served in the Colorado House of Representatives from 1982-1988 representing El Paso County, then in the Colorado Senate from 1988 until December 31, 2001

Served as administrative assistant to U.S. Senator Peter H. Dominic and co-chaired Ronald Reagan's El Paso County Presidential Election Committee, attending two national conventions as presidential election staff

Chaired the Senate Local Government and State, Veterans, and Military Affairs committees; served on Appropriations, Education, Business Affairs and Labor, and Transportation committees

Led efforts to rewrite Colorado's preneed funeral contracts law; became a professional registered parliamentarian in 1979 and completed mediation training at University of Denver in 2000

The 75th General Assembly extends sympathy to surviving children Kevin, Ronald, Thomas Tebedo, and Christine Tebedo Ramirez, with copies of the memorial to be sent to the family
