Colorado General Assembly honors and commends 32 athletes with Colorado connections competing in the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games across sports including alpine skiing, snowboarding, freestyle skiing, figure skating, ice hockey, sled hockey, cross-country skiing, ski jumping, Nordic combined, bobsled, and ski mountaineering

Athletes represent communities throughout Colorado including Steamboat Springs, Vail, Edwards, Aspen, Winter Park, Silverthorne, Colorado Springs, Boulder, Durango, and other mountain and Front Range towns

Resolution recognizes Colorado's role as a national leader in winter sports, citing world-class training facilities including the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team training center at Copper Mountain

Expresses appreciation to parents, families, coaches, trainers, support staff, and communities who contributed to the athletes' development and achievements

Directs that copies of the resolution be sent to each Colorado athlete competing in the 2026 Winter Games with congratulations from the General Assembly
