Amends Connecticut General Statutes Section 53-378(b) to expand the definition of false military representation to include oral statements, written statements, and physical display of military status.

Adds "rank" to the list of military honors that cannot be falsely claimed, alongside existing prohibitions on misrepresenting decorations, medals, service badges, and their ribbons or imitations.

Maintains criminal penalties of a fine between $500 and $1,000, imprisonment for up to six months, or both for violations.

Takes effect October 1, 2010.
