Repeals and replaces subsection (f) of section 17b-192 effective July 1, 2010, to modify hospital payment requirements under state-administered general assistance.

Requires the Commissioner of Social Services to make payments to hospitals for both inpatient and outpatient services provided to general assistance recipients at rates equivalent to Medicaid program rates.

Removes the previous methodology requirement based on pro rata share of costs or number of clients served.

Authorizes the Commissioner to determine payment methodology for ancillary or specialty services provided to general assistance recipients, subject to available appropriations.
