Tolls the time period for giving written notice of intent to bring a dram shop action under Connecticut General Statutes section 30-102 when a police investigation is pending.

Tolls the time period for bringing a dram shop civil action when state police, local police, or other law enforcement has conducted an investigation and the report has not been made public within 30 days of the complained act or omission.

Tolling ends on whichever is earlier: one year after the date of the act or omission, or the date the law enforcement agency makes the investigation report public.

A report is deemed public when released to the public or when a supervisor of the investigating officer signs the report indicating completion.

Effective October 1, 2010.
