Office of Fiscal Analysis must review General Fund appropriations for the biennium ending June 30, 2009, compared to the immediately preceding biennium.

Review shall identify general spending areas where appropriations increased by 10 percent or more between the two bienniums.

Results of the review must be submitted to the joint standing committee on appropriations on or before May 1, 2010, in accordance with section 11-4a of the general statutes.

This section takes effect immediately upon passage.
