Establishes a seven-member task force to study the effects of repealing the corporation business tax under Connecticut General Statutes Chapter 208 and recommend modifications to state tax laws to encourage business growth.

Task force membership consists of corporate executives, economists, manufacturers, and other representatives appointed by legislative and gubernatorial leadership: one each from the House Speaker, Senate President Pro Tempore, House Majority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, House Minority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, and the Governor.

Members shall be appointed within 30 days of the July 1, 2010 effective date and shall serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for actual expenses.

House Speaker and Senate President Pro Tempore shall select task force chairpersons who will schedule the first meeting no later than 60 days after the effective date.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on commerce by February 1, 2011, with administrative support provided by the committee's existing staff.
