Repeals and replaces Section 52-572m to clarify that "harm" in product liability cases includes commercial loss between commercial parties, reversing prior language that excluded it.

Removes Section 52-572n(c) which previously prohibited commercial claimants from recovering commercial loss in product liability claims, allowing such claims to proceed under product liability statutes rather than only under the Uniform Commercial Code.

Permits commercial parties to bring product liability claims for commercial loss caused by a product, expanding the types of damages recoverable in product liability actions.

Effective October 1, 2010 for amendments to General Statutes Sections 52-572m and 52-572n.
