Commissioner of Social Services must contract with a nonprofit organization by July 1, 2010 to independently monitor the performance of HUSKY Plan Part A and Part B on an ongoing basis

Selected nonprofit organization must have demonstrated experience in conducting independent performance monitoring of the HUSKY Plan

Nonprofit organization shall monitor and report to the Department of Social Services on enrollment trends, care access, service utilization, and health outcomes

Commissioner must provide the contracted nonprofit organization with access to necessary data including HUSKY enrollment and encounter data, Medicaid birth claims data, and Medicaid eligibility and claims data
