Removes the prohibition on the sale of alcoholic liquor on Sunday in package stores, drug stores, and other beer permit holders, effective October 1, 2010.

Allows package store permit holders to voluntarily decide whether to sell alcoholic liquor on Sunday.

Maintains existing restrictions on sales before 8 a.m. and after 9 p.m. on all other days.

Continues to prohibit alcohol sales on Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, and Christmas.

Permits towns to reduce the hours of permissible alcohol sales through town meeting vote or ordinance.
