Requires private residential elevators to be inspected at the time of installation, at the time of sale of the residence, and upon request of the owner, rather than only upon owner request.

Modifies the inspection frequency requirement in Section 29-195 to specify inspection timing for residential elevators effective October 1, 2010.

Requires residential condition reports provided to prospective property buyers to include the date and findings of any elevator inspection performed in accordance with Section 29-195.

Adds a new disclosure requirement (Section 20-327b(d)(2)(G)) to residential property sale documents regarding elevator inspection status and results.

Both sections take effect October 1, 2010.
