Requires the Board of Trustees of Community-Technical Colleges to notify the joint standing committee on higher education in writing immediately upon publishing the agenda for any meeting where tuition fees will be considered for a vote.

Requires the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut State University System to notify the joint standing committee on higher education in writing immediately upon publishing the agenda for any meeting where tuition fees will be considered for a vote.

Requires the Board of Trustees of The University of Connecticut to notify the joint standing committee on higher education in writing immediately upon publishing the agenda for any meeting where tuition fees will be considered for a vote.

All notification requirements apply to meetings where the boards will consider reductions, increases, or maintenance of tuition fees.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
