Legislative Program Review and Investigations Committee must submit a study to the joint standing committee on municipalities by February 1, 2012 examining ways municipalities can provide property tax relief.

Study must analyze how regionalism efforts can be used to reduce property taxes.

Study must analyze alternative revenue sources available to municipalities.

Provision takes effect upon passage of the act.
