Requires DNA samples to be collected from persons arrested for a felony at time of booking at a police station, or at a subsequent time during the case if booking collection is impractical.

Increases penalty for knowingly and without authority disseminating DNA data bank information from a class C misdemeanor to a class A misdemeanor.

Increases penalty for disseminating, receiving, or using DNA data bank information for unauthorized purposes from a class A misdemeanor to a class D felony.

Allows persons whose DNA profiles were included in the data bank due to a felony arrest to request expungement if the charge was nolled, dismissed, or resulted in acquittal.
