Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may change address records when notified by United States Postal Service that a person has changed their address, if the person has not notified DMV through required notification procedures.

Applies to individuals holding identity cards, motor vehicle operator's licenses, and certificates of registration for motor vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, or vessels.

DMV may send mail related to these documents to the address on file with the United States Postal Service and update the department's records accordingly.

Effective from passage; intended to help DMV maintain bulk mail rate eligibility and reduce undeliverable mail.
