Repeals the prohibition on Sunday sales of alcoholic liquor in package stores, drug stores, brewpubs, and grocery stores effective October 1, 2011.

Removes Sunday from the list of days when alcohol sales are unlawful, making Sunday sales optional for package store permit holders.

Maintains existing restrictions on sales before 8:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m., and keeps prohibitions on sales on Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, and Christmas.

Allows towns to reduce permitted sales hours through town meeting vote or ordinance.
