Allows certified police officers to accept employment with another police department within Connecticut without repeating minimum basic training (effective October 1, 2011).

Redefines "gainful employment" for disability retirement purposes to exclude positions where members work customarily less than twenty hours per week (effective January 1, 2000).

Permits retired municipal employees who are reemployed to continue receiving retirement allowance if the new employment is less than twenty hours per week or limited to ninety working days per calendar year (effective January 1, 2000).

Requires members reemployed for more than ninety working days in a calendar year to reimburse the Municipal Employees' Retirement Fund for retirement payments received during that ninety-day period.
