Managed care organizations must provide enrollees annually with a listing of all available providers in writing or via the Internet at the enrollee's option, effective October 1, 2011.

Advanced practice registered nurses must be listed in provider directories under a separate category or heading.

Enrollees in managed care plans requiring primary care provider selection may designate either a participating in-network physician or a participating in-network advanced practice registered nurse as their primary care provider.

Managed care organizations must notify enrollees as soon as possible when their primary care provider terminates or withdraws from the plan.
