Requires state marshals to give the chief executive officer of the town 24 hours notice before executing an eviction, including the date, time, location, and description of property to be removed.

Mandates that state marshals make reasonable efforts to notify the defendant of the eviction date and time and inform them of the possibility of a public sale of their possessions.

Specifies that removal, delivery, and storage of evicted tenant possessions shall be at the defendant's expense, with the plaintiff providing receipts to the chief executive officer for reimbursement from sale proceeds.

Requires the chief executive officer to sell stored possessions at public auction if not reclaimed within 15 days, with net proceeds (after deducting storage costs and reimbursing removal/delivery expenses) returned to the defendant or transferred to town treasury if unclaimed within 30 days.
