Upgrades stalking in the first degree from a class D felony to a class C felony, and changes the victim age threshold from sixteen to thirteen years old.

Changes stalking in the second degree from a class A misdemeanor to a class D felony and adds provisions for offenders age twenty-one or older who repeatedly follow or place minors under sixteen in reasonable fear of physical injury or death.

Completely restructures stalking in the third degree to include three categories of conduct: causing reasonable fear of material harm to physical health/safety/property, placing at risk of mental/emotional harm through electronic contact or following after being warned, or threatening employment/business through unwanted workplace contact after being warned.

Downgrades stalking in the third degree from a class B misdemeanor to a class A misdemeanor.

All amendments take effect October 1, 2011.
