Modifies definitions of forgery offenses under section 53a-137 to remove provisions allowing self-signing of written instruments with false representations of authority as a separate basis for forgery charges.

Clarifies that officers prosecuted for crimes committed in the course of duty shall receive indemnification for reasonable attorney's fees and costs if acquitted or charges are dismissed, with additional indemnification available if the officer prevails in court action against the employing governmental unit.

Allows designees to serve on the Criminal Justice Commission in place of specified members and clarifies DNA expungement procedures require both a written request and certified court order reversing the conviction.
