Establishes a gun offender registry requiring persons convicted of certain firearm offenses to register identifying information with the Commissioner of Public Safety.

Directs the Commissioner of Public Safety to maintain and manage the gun offender registry.

Makes the registry available to local and state law enforcement officers for law enforcement purposes.

Intended to assist law enforcement in the prevention and investigation of firearm offenses.
