Exempts certified police officers from the requirement to participate in a telecommunicator training program if they are certified by the Police Officer Standards and Training Council and certified as a medical response technician.

Allows the office to issue a written acknowledgment of achievement without requiring completion of telecommunicator training for persons demonstrating competence through experience or specialized training.

Modifies subsection (d) of section 28-30 of the general statutes, effective October 1, 2011.
