Grants conservators of the person the authority to execute written advance directives directing the disposition of a conserved person's body upon death, or designating an individual to have custody and control of that disposition.

Allows conservators to authorize cremation, incineration, burial, method of interment, cryogenic preservation, and disposition of cremains as specified in the advance directive.

Requires advance directives executed by conservators to be written, subscribed by the conservator, and attested by two witnesses.

Permits conservators to designate an alternate individual to carry out body disposition directions if the primary designee is unavailable.

Becomes effective October 1, 2011, and amends sections 45a-656(a) and 45a-318(a) of the general statutes.
