Prohibits public agencies from disclosing residential addresses of specified public officials and employees under any provision of state law, effective from passage.

Protects residential address information for judges, law enforcement officers, corrections employees, prosecutors, public defenders, firefighters, Department of Children and Families employees, and members of various state boards and commissions.

Allows disclosure of business addresses for protected individuals under the Freedom of Information Act and exempts Department of Motor Vehicles records from these restrictions.

Amends General Statutes Section 1-217 to clarify that residential address protections apply broadly under state law, not just under the Freedom of Information Act.
