Increases the monthly personal needs allowance for Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income recipients in long-term care facilities from sixty dollars to sixty-five dollars per month, effective July 1, 2012

Applies to residents of licensed chronic and convalescent nursing homes, chronic disease hospitals, rest homes with nursing supervision, intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded, and state humane institutions

Requires annual adjustments to the allowance effective July 1st each year based on the percentage increase in the consumer price index for all urban consumers

Increases the monthly personal fund allowance for medical assistance patients in nursing homes, chronic disease hospitals, and state humane institutions from sixty dollars to sixty-five dollars, with the same annual cost-of-living adjustments

State supplement payments for the allowance increases shall be made to the long-term care facility for deposit into each recipient's personal fund account
