Expands workers' compensation coverage for firefighters to include post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosed by a licensed and board-certified mental health professional when originating from witnessing the death of another firefighter in the line of duty.

Defines "firefighter" as a uniformed member of a municipal paid or volunteer fire department for purposes of workers' compensation eligibility.

Limits workers' compensation mental health treatment for firefighters with PTSD to psychologists or psychiatrists on the approved list of practicing physicians established by the Workers' Compensation Commission.

Applies the same mental health treatment limitations to police officers who suffer mental or emotional impairment from use of or subjection to deadly force in the line of duty.

Effective immediately upon passage and applies to any workers' compensation claim filed after the date of enactment.
