Effective July 1, 2012, amends section 4b-3(d) to authorize the Chief Court Administrator to represent the state in leasing real estate for the Judicial Branch when delegated authority by the Commissioner of Administrative Services, in addition to existing authority for Court Support Services Division space.

Modifies section 4b-3(f) to include real estate acquisitions and leases proposed by the Chief Court Administrator (when delegated authority) under review by the State Properties Review Board.

Changes terminology in section 4b-30(a) from "Judicial Department" to "Judicial Branch" throughout the statute.

Allows the Commissioner of Administrative Services to delegate leasing authority to the Chief Court Administrator for office, court, and parking facilities for the Judicial Branch when deemed appropriate and consistent with real estate and contracting laws.
