Amends section 31-53(h) of Connecticut general statutes to exempt public works projects funded exclusively with private funds from prevailing wage requirements.

Exempts new construction projects where total contractor and subcontractor costs are less than $400,000 from prevailing wage provisions.

Exempts remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration, or repair projects where total contractor and subcontractor costs are less than $100,000 from prevailing wage provisions.

Effective January 1, 2013, and applies to all contracts for construction and related work entered into on or after that date.
