Enacts the "Uniform Interstate Depositions and Discovery Act" in Connecticut, effective January 1, 2013, establishing procedures for interstate discovery requests.

Allows parties to submit foreign subpoenas to Connecticut court clerks, who shall promptly issue corresponding subpoenas for service on persons within the state.

Requires issued subpoenas to incorporate the terms of the foreign subpoena and include names, addresses, and telephone numbers of all counsel of record and unrepresented parties.

Applies existing Connecticut discovery statutes (sections 52-148a to 52-152 and 52-156 to 52-158) to subpoenas issued under this act.

Repeals section 52-155 of the general statutes and requires courts to consider the need for uniformity with other states that enact similar provisions.
