Requires owners of residential buildings to affix numerals displaying the street number assigned by the town or customarily used for the building.

Numerals must be at least four inches in height, positioned 4-12 feet above ground, and display contrasting colors to their background.

Numerals must be legible when viewed from the centerline of the street; if a building is set back more than 100 feet or obstructed, numerals shall be affixed to a post, sign, mailbox, or other device within 10 feet of the driveway entrance.

Violation of any provision constitutes an infraction.

Effective October 1, 2012.
