Amends section 31-53(h) of Connecticut General Statutes effective October 1, 2012 regarding prevailing wage thresholds for public works projects.

Maintains existing thresholds of $400,000 for new construction and $100,000 for remodeling/repair projects as the baseline prevailing wage requirement.

Creates temporary higher threshold of $750,000 for new construction projects (including those to be leased) by the state or municipalities for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014.

Keeps the $100,000 threshold unchanged for remodeling, refinishing, refurbishing, rehabilitation, alteration or repair work during the temporary period.
