Repeals and replaces subsection (a) of section 38a-335 regarding automobile liability insurance policy requirements, effective October 1, 2012

Requires all automobile liability insurance policies to provide coverage against loss from liability imposed by law with limits specified in section 14-112 for bodily injury, death, and property damage

Prohibits insurance companies from offering single limit liability policies for passenger motor vehicles on policies issued, renewed, amended, or endorsed on or after October 1, 2012

Requires separate liability limits for personal injury/death claims and property damage claims rather than a combined single limit
