Establishes a task force to review Lyme disease testing policies in Connecticut and other states.

Task force composition includes two infectious disease experts, two Lyme disease physicians, two clinical laboratory specialists, the Commissioner of Public Health, and a representative from a state Lyme disease treatment organization.

All task force appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the Commissioner of Public Health serving as chairperson and scheduling the first meeting within 60 days.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on public health by January 1, 2014, including policy recommendations for Lyme disease testing in the state.

Task force terminates upon submission of its report or January 1, 2014, whichever is later.
