Changes bottle redemption requirements so dealers must accept empty beverage containers of any brand, not just brands they sell.

Removes the restriction limiting redemption to containers of the "kind, size and brand" sold by the dealer, replacing it with "kind, size or brand" language.

Maintains exemptions allowing dealers to refuse redemption if containers contain foreign materials, lack proper labeling, or if a redemption center exists within one mile of their location.

Requires dealers to continue redeeming discontinued container sizes or brands for at least 60 days after last sale, with required point-of-sale notice posted 60 days before discontinuation.

Effective October 1, 2013.
