Authorizes school nurses, principals, teachers, licensed athletic trainers, physical/occupational therapists, coaches, and school paraprofessionals to administer antiepileptic medication to students with written physician orders and parental authorization.

Requires school districts to adopt written policies and procedures for medication administration, including antiepileptic medications, approved by a school medical advisor or qualified licensed physician.

Grants immunity from civil damages for ordinary negligence to school personnel administering medications, excluding immunity for gross, willful, or wanton negligence.

Mandates that schools maintain records of controlled drug administration consistent with hospital requirements and store drugs according to regulations adopted by the Commissioner of Consumer Protection.

Effective July 1, 2013, amending Connecticut General Statutes Section 10-212a.
