Amends section 8-30g of the general statutes to extend the affordability requirement for set-aside housing units from 40 years to perpetuity.

Removes the sunset provision that allowed deed restrictions on affordable housing units to expire after 40 years.

Requires affordable housing units in set-aside developments to remain affordable permanently rather than reverting to market-rate housing.

Strengthens Connecticut's affordable housing law by extending the duration of affordability protections indefinitely.
