Amends section 29-252(a) of the general statutes to extend the revision cycle for the State Building Code from 18 months to 6 years following publication of the preceding revision.

Requires the State Building Inspector and Codes and Standards Committee to conduct these less frequent revisions.

Intended to allow the state and municipalities to reduce administrative and compliance resources while maintaining alignment with national building standards.
