• Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection must adopt regulations by July 1, 2014 to establish an "Adopt-A-Park" program for state parks and conserved green spaces, including nature gardens and open space lands.

• Program allows individuals, associations, and corporations to sponsor or assist in the clean-up and maintenance of participating parks and green spaces.

• Regulations must specify requirements for sponsorship and assistance, including minimum and maximum lengths of time for participation.

• Act takes effect October 1, 2013.
