Amends Connecticut General Statutes sections 21a-267, 21a-278a, and 21a-279 to reduce the distance threshold for enhanced drug penalties from the current distance to 200 feet from the perimeter of schools, day care centers, or public housing projects.

Implements a recommendation from the Connecticut Sentencing Commission to narrow the geographic zone where enhanced penalties apply for sale or possession of controlled substances or drug paraphernalia.

Applies the reduced 200-foot distance requirement consistently across all three specified facility types: schools, day care centers, and public housing projects.
