Amends section 26-67c of the general statutes to add wildlife sanctuaries as grounds for the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection to amend hunting regulations in specific localities.

Allows the commissioner to restrict hunting in areas where the physical setting presents an unreasonable risk to animals located in a wildlife sanctuary.

Maintains existing authority to amend hunting regulations based on proximity risks to occupied buildings, domestic animals, flammable materials, and documented violation complaints.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and applies to section 26-67c(a) of the general statutes.
