Repeals and replaces Section 42a-4A-108 of the general statutes to clarify the application of the Uniform Commercial Code Article 4A to electronic fund transfers.

Establishes that Article 4A does not apply to funds transfers governed by the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (15 USC Section 1693 et seq.), except for remittance transfers.

Makes Article 4A applicable to remittance transfers as defined in the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (15 USC Section 1693o-1) unless the remittance transfer qualifies as an electronic fund transfer under 15 USC Section 1693a.

Provides that in case of conflict between Article 4A and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act governs.

Takes effect upon passage.
