HB 6420 Summary

• Repeals and replaces subsection (l)(1) of section 8-30g of the general statutes regarding affordable housing appeals procedures, effective October 1, 2013.

• Maintains the four-year moratorium period on affordable housing appeals following either certification of project completion or provisional approval notice published in the Connecticut Law Journal.

• Removes language extending any moratorium in effect on October 1, 2002 by one year.

• Referred to the Committee on Housing for the January 2013 session.
